Islamabad (Pak PRwire): A seminar highlighting Education UK was held at CONFED Professional Advisers on Overseas Education and Career Building here in Islamabad. A large number of consultants of North Region had participated and notified their problems to British Council’s Advisory Panel, and the Education UK team.
Several issues were raised by the consultants regarding the problems faced by them collectively. The participants have a joint consensus on uniformity of the sector to address the issues. The objective of the gathering was to promote the UK education brand in this competitive industry.
They agreed on the need to built joint marketing strategies collaborating with British Council Education UK.
The consultants are facing some major challenges like peoples’ mindsets are not clear about Education UK, there is no point of contact with the British High Commission to get information about the visa process, there is no national forum for brain-storming and education of consultants. A point needed to be noted that these education consultants are playing an active role in generating foreign revenue in the country.
British Council’s Advisory Panel has briefed consultants on best practices to get visa information and assured compliance of on-going challenges in a very short time.
Managing Director CONFED, Najiullah Khattak has suggested British Council’s Advisory Panel to update list of the consultants with British Council on regular basis for better understanding of students about the active consultants.

Such type of seminars at National Level should be arranged in order to increase collaboration among consultants.
Najiullah Khattak at end of the seminar has assured continuity of such iterations and thanked British Council’s Advisory Panel and all participating consultants on sharing their valuable thoughts to find out solutions of confronting challenges.
